Jammu a Dogra heartland, will never succumb: Raina over Jammu blast | KNO

Jammu, March 07 (KNO) : Condemning the blast at Jammu near Bus Stand, the state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Thursday termed it as an ‘utter cowardice act’. “We condemn this (blast) out rightly with a pledge to wipe-out terrorists and their supporters from our land,” said Ravinder Raina, State President of BJP as per a statement issued to KNO. The party State General Secretary (org.) Ashok Kaul and all other senior party leaders also condemned the blast that left over two dozen persons injured today. “Jammu is a Dogra heartland, which has never succumbed to these tactics in history and always responded in befitting way. Militants cannot succeed in demoralizing the brave Dogras and those who dream to create fear and tension among communities in the region will be dealt with iron hand,” he said. He said Dogras have rich history of valiance and courage who have lived and died to safeguard the motherland. “Here patriotism runs in arteries and no force in universe can scare us. We express our sympathies with the blast victims and assure them that BJP stands along with them in the hour of distress,” he added. Raina said that unnerved by the crackdown of forces on Hurriyat, separatists, militants and Pakistan, Pakistan and its sponsored militants are trying to show their existence by carrying out these ghastly acts. “Pakistan’s nefarious designs have failed in every attempt till now and it will be taught lesson for all misdeeds. Pakistan and its sponsored militants have tried to vitiate the atmosphere of Jammu and this is not acceptable to us. All those responsible for the act will be hunted down by our forces,” Raina added.(KNO)
